The weekend of well-being retreat will soon be upon us. I'm always super excited about sharing these with you. I will make sure you feel at ease if you are thinking of coming alone. Honestly it’s so empowering to take the challenge of stepping out of your comfort zone. These weekends aren’t about how super bendy you or wearing the right yoga clothes. They are about skilful and mindful movement that will help you feel good and relaxed. You will be encouraged and hopefully inspired to continue with a new fresh energy after leaving the retreat. You choose throughout the weekend how much you do.
The setting is absolutely beautiful, in the heart of the Welsh countryside (about 2 peaceful hours drive - no motorways, from Halesowen) . Perfectly tranquil to allow yourself this time to slooooow things down and to breathe a little slower and deeper.
It’s a small intimate retreat so you won’t feel intimidated in anyway.

Midlife isn’t something to fear — it’s a powerful stage of life to embrace. With the right support, you can enter this chapter feeling stronger, more mobile and more confident in your body.
This workshop is built around Pilates-based movement, with touches of yoga included to support balance, breath and mobility.
As we move through midlife, our fascia, bones, and muscles naturally lose elasticity and strength. This can bring stiffness, aches, slower recovery and even affect our mental well-being, impacting mood, confidence, and daily energy. But decline isn’t something we have to accept — the body responds incredibly well to mindful, targeted movement.
We’ll unpack how many common midlife issues are connected:
• Lower-back pain often caused by weak glutes from office work or long periods of sitting
• Pelvic floor changes in both men and women that affect stability and control
• Weak core muscles that influence balance, posture and even the risk of falls
• Stiff, achy hips that reduce movement range and make everyday tasks harder than they should be
You’ll learn how to build strength, improve flexibility, and create more ease in your body so you can move with confidence — not discomfort.
Midlife is not the beginning of the end…
It’s the start of the last third of life where you deserve to feel strong, active and free to enjoy everything you love.
To finish, we’ll end with 10 soothing minutes of relaxation to calm the nervous system and leave you feeling grounded and refreshed.
Yoga really can meet you wherever you are—it’s all about adapting the practice to support your body’s needs
Becoming a yoga teacher later in life wasn’t straightforward for me. I was never naturally sporty, and flexibility and strength didn’t come easily. But now, in my 50s, I understand how important it is to keep building strength, mobility, and agility. Without them, everyday movement becomes harder, balance starts to go, and the risk of injuries increases.
I still consider myself a beginner. My body carries its fair share of injuries and discomfort, so every time I step onto the mat feels different. That’s why I listen carefully to what my body needs that day—and I encourage you to do the same.
One of the best things about practicing in a class rather than just following videos online is the support and guidance you get in real time. A teacher can help you adapt poses safely, make sure your alignment supports your body, and encourage you when you might otherwise give up. Being in a room with others also brings accountability, energy, and connection—things that are easy to lose when practicing alone.
So don’t be put off if you feel you’re not flexible enough, strong enough, or “good” at yoga. None of that matters. What matters is moving, exploring, and caring for your body in the way only you can.

We’ll be gathering in a beautiful teepee by the lake, surrounded by nature that’s catered for all weathers — the perfect sanctuary for relaxation, reflection, and reconnection.

Welcome Hot Drinks – Ease into the day with a warm cup in hand, connecting with like-minded souls.
Mindful Movement Session with breath work – Energising, flowing movements set to chilled tribal beats to awaken your body and clear out stagnant energy.
Lunch Break – Choose from the on-site café’s wholesome menu (prices are being arranged separately) or bring your own. Take a peaceful walk around the lake, journal, or simply unwind in the beauty around you.
Self-Development Workshop with Wis3r Coaching – I’m thrilled to have the amazing Gary Taylor of Wis3r Coaching joining us. Known for his grounded, insightful approach, he’ll guide a session to shift your mindset and spark self-awareness in a fun, thought-provoking way.
Soothing Stretch & Restore – Slow, mindful stretching to gently settle the body and calm the nervous system.

Intention setting, inspiration, thoughts and guidance using some self development tools around what you do want to bring into the year and what is not working for you.
Yoga that will ignite your inner fire, to challenge you to explore moving in a way that works for you, building strength, better mobility, and flexibility. This is suitable for all abilities. No yoga experience needed
A transformational breathwork session. moving you through a series of different breathwork techniques. Stronger breathing that will help release stagnant toxic energy, aid digestion, to help clear your mind, so you can focus on what you want to bring into the New Year. We will then move into more meditative, calm breathing, that is really soothing for the immune function and nervous system, aiding better sleep.
Break for lunch. Beautiful vegetarian graze boxes are being provided. Selection of Teas, coffee and herbal drinks.
After lunch there will be a talk on benefits of micro movements and how to incorporate this into your daily life helping with your health and fitness. Discussions on Ayurveda principles , helping you understand how you can eat and move better according to what Dosha’s you are (principles of your mind, body and behaviour). You will be given a short questionnaire to answer to help you identify which one/s you are.
We will close the retreat with a sound healing session
