It will be practiced in a light hearted, no pressure, non intimidating way. I am here to support your wellness journey.
Some movement is better than no movement so even if you take tiny steps to begin with, you are going in the right direction. Just come along with a smile, no expectations of how you think you should look/be and practice from a place of kindness without judgement to yourself.

A day to get inspired and uplifted about the year ahead.
10-11 Manifest - getting clear on what you want to bring in, work on, release.
11.15 - 12.45 Movement and breath work to help you shift the heavy, stagnant, lethargic energy from the overindulgences of Christmas. Encouraging you to move in a way that will enliven the body. (Suitable for everyone, no yoga experience needed.) Using affirmations and uplifting words throughout to encourage a positive mindset.
To help boost immune function, calm the nervous system and increase vitality.
12.45-1.15 break for lunch which will be provided
1.15-2.15 I’m grateful to have the very knowledgable Jayne Deeley from Inspiring Nutrition joining us for a discussion on healthy eating, the power of nourishment and holistic wellness.
2.30-2.50 guided relaxation bring your blankets, cushions, fluffy socks and get ready to honour your body with some soothing, deep rest.
This is suitable for all abilities. Even an option to use a chair if you wish.
Repeating the same behaviours won’t bring you different results . And no one can make these changes for you… So why not treat yourself to day to reset, breathe, focus your mind, improve your vitality and be inspired to have an amazing year. The weekend of well-being retreat will soon be upon us. I'm always super excited about sharing these with you. I will make sure you feel at ease if you are thinking of coming alone. Honestly it’s so empowering to take the challenge of stepping out of your comfort zone. These weekends aren’t about how super bendy you or wearing the right yoga clothes. They are about skilful and mindful movement that will help you feel good and relaxed. You will be encouraged and hopefully inspired to continue with a new fresh energy after leaving the retreat. You choose throughout the weekend how much you do.
The setting is absolutely beautiful, in the heart of the Welsh countryside (about 2 peaceful hours drive - no motorways, from Halesowen) . Perfectly tranquil to allow yourself this time to slooooow things down and to breathe a little slower and deeper.
It’s a small intimate retreat so you won’t feel intimidated in anyway.

The retreat will take you on a journey through movement, mindfulness, breathwork, discussions, self care, sound healing and connection back to yourself.
Intention setting, inspiration, thoughts and guidance using some self development tools around what you do want to bring into the year and what is not working for you.
Yoga that will ignite your inner fire, to challenge you to explore moving in a way that works for you, building strength, better mobility, and flexibility. This is suitable for all abilities. No yoga experience needed
A transformational breathwork session. moving you through a series of different breathwork techniques. Stronger breathing that will help release stagnant toxic energy, aid digestion, to help clear your mind, so you can focus on what you want to bring into the New Year. We will then move into more meditative, calm breathing, that is really soothing for the immune function and nervous system, aiding better sleep.
Break for lunch. Beautiful vegetarian graze boxes are being provided. Selection of Teas, coffee and herbal drinks.
After lunch there will be a talk on benefits of micro movements and how to incorporate this into your daily life helping with your health and fitness. Discussions on Ayurveda principles , helping you understand how you can eat and move better according to what Dosha’s you are (principles of your mind, body and behaviour). You will be given a short questionnaire to answer to help you identify which one/s you are.
We will close the retreat with a sound healing session
Hosting a Tropic party is such a bonus because you get to actually hear from an ambassador about the natural and effective ingredients in the products, how to use them and find out more about the environmental work that Tropic achieves as a company. I recommend it to anyone and everyone
